35 year old Tanya saw 3 objects in two separate sightings from 10.15pm on 6 April this year. The orange objects attracted Tanya’s attention due to their movement, which was at a moderate pace. The objects were approximately 45 degrees from the horizon and were the size of the thumbnail at arms length. "We saw two orange lights at 10.15pm moving east to west. They were steadily going across the sky. Then at 11.30 we saw one more light going the same direction. The first two were changing positions to each other first behind then goes beside and over as they were travelling." Keith Douglass UFORAS

A cattle station employee had a ‘late night’ sighting of a light orange object that lasted about 10 minutes. The object was 3 times bigger than the stars. The object was bright and ‘darting around the sky before disappearing by shooting off into space. There was quite a bit of activity in the N.T around this time and the following set of photos taken from Arltunga could be of the same object. Keith Douglass UFORAS

(Source: Personal Investigation by Keith Douglass UFORAS)
A farmer 150 km from Alice Springs out near Aritunga, called Keith to report the death of one of his horses. The farmer has lived in the area for many years and has never had an animal die in such a strange way. He said there was no sign of the horse stumbling before its death as their should have been. The farmer thought it was a little strange the horse was legs up and there was no sign of the horse having struggled because the ground was not disturbed at all. The farmer said he thought he would report it because of the UFO sighting which accrued near his farm on April 18th 1999 when a photo was taken of an alleged UFO. Keith Douglass UFORAS

Darrell reports: "a very large object appeared in the sky, size was in between the size of the moon and a large star, my friend also saw it along with my neighbour. Colour was a bright pulsating orange. The object hovered for around twenty minutes then moving towards them and then away.

It travelled from a West to a North Westerly direction, we were looking almost north at it. We called RAAF Amberley and I was told there had been nothing reported and nothing on radar. The object then moved towards Mt Glorious." Robert Frola AUFORN

18.04.99 ESPERANCE, WA (ANGEL HAIR)
(Source: Brian Richards, UFORUM)
A man witnessed tonnes of white filamentous threads falling from the sky over a 90 kilometre area or more. Paddocks, hedges and trees were covered with the material and it hung off power lines in great shrouds with lengths up to thirty feet long. Apparently the sky was thick with it up to a thousand feet or more. There was no wind. The threads fell from 10am to 3pm. All the paddocks in the area had a ‘sheen’ caused by layers of the material. Peter, the witness, picked up some of the ‘hair’ to try and get it analysed. A cessna aircraft was flying around as low as 200ft through the falling threads. Three contrails were stationary much higher, one with a spiral in it. Channel 9 put out a report (tonight) that the same material was used in Yugoslavia to put out electrical power supplies (generators).

The silvery/white object appeared like a star but was more square in shape and had a black line in the middle of it. It was estimated to be 80 - 100000 feet in altitude and was heading east until it eventually faded out of view. The men had time to gather a telescope and binoculars to view the object with.

"My wife and I were driving home through the southern foot hills when I first saw a strange light, after watching it for a few minutes we pulled over and both got out of our car to see it more clearly. It approached us from the north at an average speed (like a plane) then it began to slow down and dance around in a zig-zag motion for about ten seconds before zooming off to the west at an unbelievable speed (much like a shooting star) My wife was very frightened and I was very excited!" Randall Shipway and his wife witnessed the object at about 11.30pm from Bains Road at Woodcroft, in the northern skies. The red colour and pulsating behaviour is what attracted the attention of the couple. The sighting lasted approximately 5 minutes.
