Samlou said that he had seen a day time UFO the Object was saucer shape and it was a silver in colour. The time was around 7.30am. The witness was on his way to work.

Samlou stated: "I am not a silly man. I saw what I saw. I did not make this up. The object was moving quite fast going toward Melbourne. I am sure others must have seen it. It moved fast and looked like it was going in the direction of the sea I thought it was going to crash when I lost sight of it." George Simpson AUFORN VIC

Colin S. was looking north when a bright, coal-red object came into view and hovered in one spot, pulsating bright and dim. At one stage a piece of burning substance fell towards the ground from the object which then seemed to move towards the witness before fading out. Colin had seen a daylight UFO in 1960 over Southend-on-Sea, Essex, UK. Brian Richards ASPR/UFORUM

Deborah watched a round object, silvery in colour, travelling slowly across the sky for approximately 5 minutes before disappearing into a cloud. The object was a long way from the witness. Further information has been requested from Deborah via a Sighting Report Form. Early indications are that this could have been a foil balloon as it travelled slowly and did nothing "unusual" but further details are required. Tony Cooke VUFORS

Karen woke up around midnight on Tuesday morning and made a cup of tea. She decided while she was awake she would go outside and have a look at the night sky, this was approx around 12.05am/12.10am.

Whilst sitting outside, she saw something in the sky at approx 45 degrees and said ‘What’s This’. She watched it for about 10 mins and it didnt move. She got her husband to come out and have a look as well. They then went through the ‘Its not a helicopter/plane/ weatherballoon’ etc routine. Her husband even suggested it might have been the Goodyear blimp, but Karen said it couldn’t be possible for that time in the morning. She then got her 15 year old son, to get his binoculars.

Through the binoculars the object appeared to be cigar shaped and had distinctive flashing coloured lights. The colours were Red/Yellow/Green. Whilst continuing to watch the object through the binoculars, Karen saw the lights go through a cycle of: Red to Green to Purple, then Red to Green to Orange, the lights during this time were flashing very quickly.

Also, during the sighting, Karen saw 2 Cessna/light aircraft appear to fly underneath the object, thereby showing a definite difference between the object and the planes. The planes continued to fly on towards Aldinga airport whilst the object remained hovering. Around 12.50am it started to drift westwards, then suddenly just disappeared - as in Karen’s words ‘it was there one minute, gone the next’.

Karen informed me that she also took some photos of the object. I asked Karen if anything did come out, once the film had been developed, for her to contact me for further investigation. Charmaine Ballam AUFORN SA

59 year old engineer, Kenneth Gray of Skye, saw a single orange object during the half hour from 10:20pm on the above date. "I saw the object rise like a domestic firework rocket with a firey tail but it remained stationary for a minute or so. I called my wife to observe and viewed it through a telescope. The object became increasingly dim, we believe it was rising slowly into the cloud layer." The orange object originated from the Newton/Holden Hill area and it was the trail of sparks that attracted Mr Gray’s attention.

Daniel, the witness, watched two lights to the south, one red, one blue. Both were pulsating and moving up and down at forty-five degrees. He watched this display for twenty minutes until the lights faded out. Brian Richards ASPR/UFORUM

Craigmore sales manager Stewart Ellaby-Hall witnessed a round pure white light which was the size of a full moon at approximately 1000 feet in altitude. "I was driving from Gawler to Smithfield (north to south) when a bright white light passed above the car in a southerly direction at approximately 1000 feet. Within 15 seconds it was 100 meters ahead of the vehicle. The light was as big and the same shape as a full moon, there was no noise and it was faster than an F18 fighter jet. I did not see the object again, it disappeared." The duration of the sighting was 15 seconds from 9:35pm and left Mr Ellaby-Hall feeling excited yet disappointed he didn’t capture it on video.

A man watched five small star-like lights move from the south-east. One light seemed to triple in size, break away from the main group, and move towards the witness. It stopped, grew small again, and returned to the main group. All the lights then faded out. Brian Richards ASPR/UFORUM

"I was travelling South along the Kwinana Freeway and adjacent to the Charles St exit to my left. Looking through the front passenger window to my left (East) I noticed a a strange object also heading South about 25m up and 200m away. It was shaped like an oval football, clearly defined, illuminated but not brightly, and off-white. I reckon the object was about a metre long. It was travelling quite fast as I had to look through the windscreen to keep track of it. As I watched it heading Southeast it suddenly vanished before my eyes. It was a most unusual sighting" Brian Richards ASPR/UFORUM

Below is from Sharon K, also from Perth, WA. This is her account of what happened Thursday night.

"I live in WA also, and heard several reports on a local radio station here, 6PR, at about 10:00-10:30pm Thursday night of which a craft with definate light colour changes was extremely slowly moving across the sky. After several reports of lights changing from redish to bluish to whitish, a caller phoned in to say it was a small plane heading very slowly south, close to the coast, and appeared to be headed Mandurah way. The caller was a truckie I believe following it at the time. I raced outside with my telescope as I was in a position to observe the lights and they appeared to be almost stationary, however probably due to moving slowly away from me.

If these reports are similar to the one Brian is investigating I believe they were solved as a simple small plane." Robert Frola AUFORN

Not long after in May-June the witness was awakened by a loud humming noise at 10.23pm. The humming appeared to be just above her roof. She yelled to her partner (who was wearing headphones at the time) who only heard the humming as it was stopping. The humming left not as gradual as a jet or chopper, both of which are familiar to the witness as she grew up near Richmond air base. The humming lasted approx 2 seconds or perhaps a bit longer.
