Mr X and his wife were quite shaken up on Sunday Night 15th Feb 04 as at about 7.46pm at Burleigh Heads, they saw a fire ball travelling from North to South. It changed shape, and travelled right over their heads, they were going to run as they thought it was coming straight for them. As it reached over their heads it made a hissing sound “like gas leaking” said Mr X. Mr X took some photo’s but we have to take in to consideration that his hands were shaking when he took the photo’s using a digital camera.

This morning I was on the way to work and I spotted a very large object falling from the sky. I was about 40kl out of town heading west and the object was travelling east to northeast.

The object was very large with a silvery white front and a large fire trail coming off the back, it was in clear view for at least 10 seconds and others here viewed the same object. I have seen falling stars and the morning and evening stars and this object was the biggest thing I have ever seen coming out of the sky and I would like to know what it was as there must be some body on this planet that know of all of the things fall to earth. Rick reported seeing a strange object flying around silently with 3-8 white lights on it’s back, and one red light on top. He could hear a sound like a generator coming from the object as it moved around. He saw it again about 2 days later. He stated that it was not a plane , and what he saw was not as fast as a plane. He said it was as big as about 6 cars together, and it was only 2 blocks away. It was very near to the local school. Rick is 36 years old and sounded very genuine and down to earth. Sue noticed a moving light over a mountain range. It turned out that it was the second occasion she had mistaken Canopus for a UFO. The process of scintillation was explained to her; how it makes an object appear to be moving when it is not. George Simpson AUFORN VIC

Several hundred feet up, Nick saw a bright light like a helicopter approaching Melbourne. It then stopped, went west, then did a zigzag movement, then went straight up and disappeared. Although it was about 3.00 pm on a Friday, the moon was visible, to the right. The object was white and very bright, only about two to three kilometres away. Travis and his wife watched a strange silent ‘hovering ball of fire’. It looked like it was about the size of a streetlight. They saw it take a sharp turn, wobble and then take off very quickly to the north towards Craigieburn. It was a yellow to orange colour.

Then they saw another one in the same area that headed towards them and went right above them. It moved faster and headed towards the same area where the first one went. The second one was an oval-shaped light that was also silent.

Travis described how he has an inexplicable fear of remote areas and has moved in to the city areas in an attempt to avoid or stop the frequency of visitations. He stated there is too much strange activity going on in the country areas. George Simpson AUFORN VIC
