On 3 November 2004, at 4.30 am, two people sitting on a verandah noticed a strange diamond-shaped star which had an aura which rotated in a clockwise direction and changed colour every 360-degree turn from green to red to blue which was moving along the horizon. Then from the yard they noticed two very bright stars which were jiggling vertically up and down. Looking around the sky they noticed eleven other diamond shapes in the sky with the same coloured moving aura which was scattered in the far distance. After fifteen minutes of staying in the same spot they pulled away and got smaller as they moved away. They then looked at the two bright stars that were slowly moving together which finally merged then pulled away from the smaller stars.

NUFORC doubts that this is a serious report. E-mail Report

31.11.04 TOOWOOMBA QLD 2100hrs (NL)
(Source: Source The Australian U.F.O. Bulletin December 2004)
It was hot inside the reporting observer's house, located on the west side of Toowoomba, so he went outside to cool off. When he looked toward the clear night sky, as he normally does when sitting outside, he noticed in the southeastern sky, at an elevation of between 20 and 25 degrees, two small white lights. He describes these lights as silent, and similar in size to Mars on a good night.

His first thought was that these might be two aircraft flying side by side, but he could not see any navigation lights. Next, he thought that these might be satellites, tracking close together, but these lights were flying around each other in circles, much like two swallow birds playing together.

He considered calling his daughter to have a look at the activities of the lights with him, but thought better of it. The lights continued in the same region as first sighted for a short while, and after about fifteen minutes, suddenly shot off at great speed. Within a moment, they were o longer visible.

While speaking with a friend, he was informed that a South Australian newspaper had published a article, which involved UFOs, the RAAF, and a sighting on the same night.
