In April 2005 I noticed a cut on my back. I don’t remember how it got there as I don’t recall injuring myself. The cut was about three inches in length and was deep. There was blood however. The cut has now formed into a scar, which looks similar to that of a surgery related operation. I didn’t take much notice of it until this morning.

My mother woke me this morning and complained of back pain and asked me to check to see what the problem was. After checking, I realized that her cut was identical to my cut of four weeks earlier. I showed her the scarring on my back and she was shocked. After taking photos, we both noticed that our scars were exactly the same length.

Mum’s, however, was on the left side of her back, and mine was on the more upper right side of my back. Both of us do not know how we acquired these cuts. Both cuts are in a straight line, exactly the same length. Mum’s scar is beginning to form into what looks like a medical scar. We have checked, and both my brother and sister do not have scars on their backs. We are not sure if my father has scars, as he won’t let us check as he is quite against it.

My mother never used to believe in extraterrestrials or conspiracies, but now this incident has encouraged her to learn more.

Additional Information: I currently live in Banora Point. I believe that I have seen and had contact with extraterrestrials, my previous submissions describing them. When I was a child I saw three tall shapes around my bed and another time I woke to find my foot broken and nose bleeding. Also, I have seen a flaming red object in the sky, and just recently I discovered that a number of years ago my father saw a green object in the sky. We have also experienced a strange occurrence in our town, when a bright white light flashed in the sky over our town, causing a blackout. All of our town’s power is underground, and the nearest transformer is a couple of kilometres away.

After noticing the scars, I have found it difficult to sleep. I have noticed sounds outside, and sometimes have a feeling as if they are outside looking in at me. I have heard strange noises at night, and sometimes both our two dogs bark late at night, for unknown reasons.

Both my mother and I have strange tingling feeling around the scars. I usually notice this feeling when around water, or when I go to bed. Whether this is an implant, brand, or just a very strange coincidence, I don’t know.

10.04.05 DUNKELD, VIC 2230hrs

On a fine, calm, dry, clear April night in Dunkeld, while the reporting observer was standing outside her front door watching the night sky as she does on a regular basis, her attention was caught by something that initially confused and then excited her. She felt that she was watching something that she had never seen before. It appeared to be a small, almost stationary but possibly revolving on the spot, multicoloured flashing beacon in the western sky, at an elevation of about 45-degrees above the horizon, and about the relative size of Venus. She indicated that she believes that this was not an aircraft, and estimated that it was at least five kilometres distant. During the hour that she watched it, it flashed blue, red, and white, as it appeared to move very slowly over a large tree, toward a large shed to the left of the tree, a relative distance of about two inches at arm’s length, and then it suddenly vanished. She indicates that both her husband and son also saw this object. Since this sighting, she has had at least five similar sightings, and on each occasion, the weather was very clear and the object always vanished at the same location before midnight.

15.04.05 BRADY’S LOOKOUT, TAS 1135hrs (DD)
The witness was travelling south along the West Tamar Highway, approaching Brady’s Lookout at Rosevears. Something shiny caught his attention in the clear blue sky out over the Tamar River. He could see a spherical metallic shape that was so bright it had a reflective halo around it. The witness, in amazement, slowed right down to keep the object in sight. Then he pulled into the lookout carpark. Although it had taken only 20-30 seconds he could not located anything to explain his sighting. He arrived home at Legana soon after and did notice a high flying plane leaving a vapour trail in the sky. It however did not bear any resemblance to his sighting. Keith Roberts TUFOIC

15.04.05 COOBER PEDY, SA 2230hrs (NL)
On 15 April 2005 in Coober Pedy, the witness was outside around 10.30 pm when he noticed two lights, one orange and one white, near the horizon in the northwest. The orange light moved so he got his camcorder and his wife. As he was filming it the light came closer. The white light was below it but could not be located in the viewfinder. The orange light came even closer and he could see the glowing dome on top. The object finally shot to the northwest. The one minute of video footage was sent to Channel 7, Adelaide.

Brendan reports on behalf of his flatmate, who is not ready to come forward. On 18 April 2005, the flatmate’s mother and sister were visiting him from Albury and they attended a kite festival where he filmed the kites with his digital handycam. When they got home he began to rewind the tape for viewing when the tape would not rewind all the way back to the beginning; something which had never happened before. He manually rewound the tape frame by frame and what appeared in three frames of the tape absolutely puzzled them. Brendan, who has seen the footage, states that as clear as a bell a silver disc-shaped object with a domed top is clearly visible. It was flying low and fast with the sun reflecting off it. They were unaware of any associated noise and did not see it with the naked eye.

This is obviously still under investigation and I will keep you posted with updates as they come in. Larraine Cilia UFOSWS

19.04.05 BRISBANE (WATERFORD WEST), QLD 2210hrs (CE1)
On 19 April 2005, at 10.10 pm, Claude was walking within the Kinglea Caravan Park, Bourke St, Waterford West, when he looked up at the stars. As he did this, a very large triangle with three large low density cream lights about 20-25 metres in diameter, passed overhead at about 200 metres high. Each light had a large grid under it. The underside was like a grey-coloured steel. It travelled at about 200-300 km/hr. The sighting lasted three to four seconds and it travelled from east to west. The night sky had light scattered cloud and a small crescent moon. Robert Frola AUFORN

On 22 April 2005 at 5.03 am, Guy observed for forty-five minutes: “Myself and my mate had been in my garage from approx. 4.45 am talking when I walked out to my backyard at 5.03 am (noted the time when I saw it stop) and happened to look up and to the south at that time. I called my mate over and said, “Check out this satellite”. We watched it for a maybe five seconds before we both saw it change its direction and go in a sort of zigzag motion. By this time we had the feeling that it wasn’t in fact a satellite. We watched it moving for maybe forty five seconds before it stopped dead in the sky two centimetres (if you hold your hands out) under what I thought was a star. When it stopped I raced inside to find my camera but couldn’t find it. I came back out where Brett was still watching it but it hadn’t moved since so again I went to find my camera and found it in my room. This time, when I came out I realised the battery was were dead, so again I raced back in, changed them with batteries in the remote controls but no luck, so I came back out so I wouldn’t miss anything while rubbing the batteries in my hand (I had to do this several times) and finally got the camera to turn on. I then took two photos of the object while it was motionless before I had to delete some of the old photos in the memory. I didn’t see the object move from that spot after it stopped there.

The next object we saw came also from the south but this time almost overhead. Brett was the first to see it and turned my attention to it. It seemed to be the same size as the first, in fact I wouldn’t have been able to tell them apart if they were together. I only saw this object for maybe fifteen seconds as I was fiddling with the batteries trying to get a picture, but Brett watched it while I had my head down. I can’t say much on that one because I only saw it briefly, although I can say from what I saw I don’t think it stayed on a steady heading. When it stopped I heard him say it’s doing ‘donuts’ but that I never saw. I think I tried to take a picture of this one, but I didn’t see where exactly it stopped. On top of that, I couldn’t see through the viewfinder so I just pointed and clicked hoping I would catch something... The next thing I saw was the shortest sighting but by far the most incredible. By this time it was 5.19 am when I was looking to the north-northeast, when coming from the north to the south was an incredibly fast object. I only saw it for about a second but I guarantee you I will never forget it. It was flying low, at what altitude I couldn’t be sure, but to give you an idea of size I liken it to holding a five, ten or twenty cent piece out in front of you, somewhere in between those sizes. Although that may sound small I have a feeling it was in fact quit large. It was very bright, like looking into a street light or something brighter but still somehow different. The light surrounding the entire object was not just coming from a single source but from all over so I would say it was self-illuminated. The colour of the light was a very bright white and I didn’t see any other colour on it at all. It also made absolutely no sound, not a thing, which scared me a bit. The shape of the object from what I saw looked just like ball. If it wasn’t completely circular, it may have been slightly elliptical, but I am almost positive it was completely round. Again, I have to guess at the speed of this thing as when my eyes locked on to it for that moment when it flew by, it jerked my head and my whole body around and made me give out an involuntary gasp out aloud, just from the shock of actually seeing it. I believe I may have even grabbed onto my mate’s shoulder. At this point I had to sit down because my entire body was shaking from the adrenalin pumping through it. I remember saying to Brett, “Do you realise what we’ve seen this morning??” over and over! I almost couldn’t believe it! It has definitely left a permanent mark on me, especially the fact it took only a second to cover the sky and without even a whisper of a sound still brings on the adrenalin when I think about it.

The last thing we saw was witnessed first by Brett. It was 5.32 am and I was facing south where the first two came from, with my eyes glued to sky when Brett turned me around and pointed up into the north side of the sky and told me to watch. There, after maybe two seconds, I saw a bright flash that I would say was probably four times brighter than a bright star, then nothing, then another flash, then nothing, etc. At this time I thought “**** get a picture, or anything!”, I then took a picture, which was the last one before the batteries died for good. I then realised I might be able to use the camera on my phone and took two twelve second clips with my phone before we watched them disappear. I originally thought I had only watched it for twenty seconds or so but the two clips were twelve seconds and to get the phone ready would have taken another fifteen seconds or so - probably more like 35-40 seconds while looking at my phone and the sky back and forward again. While I was fiddling around, Brett kept watching it and saw it longer than I did. Although from what I saw when it flashed, it was about four times brighter than a star but when it didn’t flash I couldn’t see anything at all out of the ordinary - no outline of it, no light, nothing like the others. It was definitely moving! It seemed to go in a diagonal line up and right before it came down a bit then again diagonal. The only way we could follow it was when it flashed it was at a different location so we just traced where it was before to then. I got the impression the last time it flashed that it was going further or higher because it seemed to dim, but couldn’t be sure because we didn’t see it again after that. By this time the sun was starting to rise on our right and the stars were almost all faded into the sky. I also found it quit odd that the last movement we saw was only six minutes before the first plane came overhead at 5.38 am. We were then convinced we wouldn’t see any more, so for about ten minutes we talked about everything that had just happened before I let him out through my garage door and I then went inside. When inside I sat down and tried to regain myself and then sent an SMS message to my dad and my girlfriend, telling them briefly that I had seen something incredible before writing five pages of notes so I didn’t forget any details after I fell asleep. Before Brett left I told him to do the same and write down what he saw and write any details at all. He has since told me he did but I have not seen them as yet. Also I did my best while I was outside to get accurate times and remember details and as far as I am concerned everything I have written here is as accurate and readable as I can put it.

Effects? No, I don’t think so. Although the whole thing seems to me to be either meant to be or complete blind luck as me and Brett never meet up at that time and have never just sat and talked in the garage. In fact we were supposed to meet at about midnight but he got delayed. We were also going to go for a drive to Maroubra but I said let’s just stay here even though I wanted to go for a drive near the ocean. It just seems very lucky.

Other Experiences? Never seen a UFO before that but had a couple of strange things happen, one involving a little girls voice on a video in my phone (still have it) when I was alone, and a couple unrelated experiences.” E-mail Report

23.04.05 INGLE FARM, SA 2240hrs
Source: Victorian UFO Research Society, Moorabin, Victoria
On 23 April 2005, around 10.40 pm, the witness from his home in Ingle Farm first saw the bright orange objects in the fine clear night sky, at an elevation of about 25 to 30-degrees above the horizon. He noticed that there were four pairs in total. They were flying silently from north to south, at a distance of approximately 500 metres, and were about 100 to 200 metres above the ground. Each appeared to be about the size of a car, and eye-shaped. He got his wife soon after he first saw the objects, and the two of them could not believe what they were watching. They also phoned their neighbours and got them out to see the strange objects. Later, he got his camera and took some photographs of the objects. One object from the first pair flew off by itself, and the remaining seven went into a formation. He estimated that the formation moved to about one kilometre away. The whole event lasted for approximately ten minutes and the objects just got duller and duller until they could no longer be seen. They did not appear to fly away, just slowly dim out.

27.04.05 HOBART (nr. BOWEN BRIDGE, OTAGO BAY), TAS 0520hrs (CE1)
Source: UFO Research NSW Sighting Report - Reported 17.05.05
Just over a week ago on 27 April 2005 I was on my way to work at 5.20 am. I was driving on a road that is not used much that time of the morning, anyway I came around a corner and saw a blue light flashing, at first I though it was a police car but where I saw the light there is no road and it was going to slow. As I got closer it was near a street light I just happened to turn my head and saw an object flashing about 1 metre on the roof of a house as the blue light flashed again I saw what it was a UFO. It was a silver metallic coloured sphere with what looked like rivets on its surface. I just sped of because it freaked me out. Now I would not be writing to you if I was lying because I didn’t believe in them at all, I always thought it was just people wanting to get attention for something or they were on something strong. When I saw it I rang my husband and told him we even went back to where I saw it and there was nothing that could have made that light. I have now eaten my words and have told a few friends who believe me. I just thought you would like to know. Anthony Clarke UFORNSW

27.04.05 HOBART (OTAGO BAY), TAS 0520hrs (CE1)
TA 2005-067
The witness had just started a new job at a hospital in Hobart; this meant an early start for work at 6.00 am. The route from Gagebrook to the city is via the East Derwent Highway and the Bowen Bridge, a route the witness has travelled often. Just north of the Bowen Bridge the highway drops down a hill then curves left towards a straight heading towards an underpass beneath the bridge. As the witness came onto the straight a slow flashing blue light caught her attention. The light was low and above or just left of the road. At first she thought it could have been a police or service vehicle. The light flashed every three to four seconds and was moving slowly to the left as she viewed through the front windscreen. By now the witness was approaching the location of the light which was to the left of the highway and visible out the passengers’ window. At this point for some five seconds she was able to view an object apparently some 100 m away and looking to be just a metre above the roadside house. The pear-shaped object had a flashing blue light on the right bottom side. The body of the object seemed to have metallic patterns or symbols on it, whilst above there were two black areas, possibly windows. The object, which was still moving very slowly, left looked to be a bit bigger than a car. The witness felt panic and shock at the sight of the object and sped off beneath the underpass and out onto the Bowen Bridge, she glanced back to the north of the bridge but did not see the blue light or object. She returned with her husband later that day but could not locate anything to explain the sighting.

INVESTIGATION:
The sighting was reported to UFO Research (NSW) on 7 May 2005, they in turn passed on the information to TUFOIC on 15 May. The witness was contacted by telephone at once and then completed a sighting form on 22 May 2005. The sighting location was visited and photographs taken of the location. Nothing was visible to account for the sighting. A check was made for any helicopter, air ambulance, and commercial aircraft flights but these all proved negative.

CONCLUSION:
The reported low elevation of the sighting would seem to preclude an explanation by high flying aircraft, also the size and movement of the object rules out a normal astronomical explanation. The witness says that there was no other road traffic noticed at the time of the sighting. The witness has since the sighting travelled on the same road to go to work and has not seen any similar lights. The Bowen Bridge is not visible at the initial sighting point, whilst at the final viewing location the witness was looking towards the low spurs of Mt Direction, this would seem preclude an explanation from traffic movements. The only local lighting in the area is a street light adjacent to the sighting location. A service road also is next to the sighting location but well below the location of the object. None of the houses appeared to have any unusual construction or protuberances that could be misidentified.

On the information provided the case remains unexplained. Keith Roberts TUFOIC

28.04.05 TOWNSVILLE, QLD 2013hrs
On 28 April 2005, at 8.13 pm, the witnesses reported seeing a circular saucer-type craft with lights flashing in a circular direction. They were driving south along the coast near Townsville on a perfectly clear night when they saw a UFO up ahead and to the driver’s right. The lights flashed in a rotary fashion. It was hovering at no more than 100 feet above the field then suddenly it disappeared. “I was lost for words at the sight and could not speak until after the craft vanished,” said the driver. “I then asked my passengers if they had seen it [and] they had.”

Source: UFO Research NSW Sighting Report - Reported 17.05.05
The witness was in Park Avenue, Burwood, on 30 April 2005, around 10.45 pm, when a very dark almost black boomerang-shaped object moving quite slowly passed high overhead. It made no noise and had no lights. It was travelling east to west. It looked like a plane but fatter with no tail section or cockpit, just the wing section. It was as high as a thirty-storey building. The sky was clear.
The witness said, “I was on the balcony of a flat with friends inside and I couldn’t even yell out to them. I wasn’t scared, I just couldn’t believe what I was seeing ... I nearly fell off the balcony from leaning over trying to follow it. I forgot about it almost instantly - I told a friend who came out - finished my cigarette and walked back inside and forgot about it completely - he brought it up twenty minutes later and I couldn’t believe I had forgotten.” Anthony Clarke UFORNSW
