Observation: Hi guys on sunday morning the 4/02/07 I woke up and got myself a glass of water as I stood looking out my kitchen window I noticed a light approching my direction heading north. As it got nearer I could plainly see it was cigar in shape approx20/30 meters in length and around 5/10 meters wide it was the most unusall bright yellow in colour almost as though it was on fire changing to almost a white colour. I ran into our room and woke up my wife. We both ran back out to the kitchen and watched it move very slowly around 20/40kms per hour and around 10 meters above the roof tops of the neighbours houses in the next street over. At one time it was as close as 100 meters from us.There was a very unconfortable silence it made no sound.

The time was 4.02 a.m and the whole thing was over in under 5 minutes as it disappeared out of view behind houses and bush. I have once seen something like this before but a lot higher up which kind of did not concern me like this thing has.

I will tell you this much it was not a comet nor a weather ballon WE KNOW WHAT IT WAS after seeing one before I never thought I would see another again but not just me this time theres two people who have witnesed the same thing with no answers apart from the obvious one.

We are going to invest in a decent video camera might just get lucky. Please feel free to contact myself or my wife if you need any more info on this event. Regards Dean and Kim

Late on the evening of 5 January 2007, Aaron was outside the family home in the Foster area, north of Sydney, when he saw what resembled a firework display. Avid stargazers, he and his wife watched it for about 30 minutes from about 10.05 pm as these things sparked on and off in an orange glow over the Foster to Taree area. At the same time he was aware of the rumbling of jet engines in the sky and could see the constant dim glow of a military aircraft as it passed by, quite separate to what he was watching over the horizon.

In the morning, still puzzled by what he had seen, he rang the different councils and mayoral offices just to check if anything had been going on which he didn’t know about. He then rang the RAAF to ask what it was that their jets were out chasing at about the same time of evening. He described his line of sight as north/northeast and low on the horizon just above the trees. There were large orange flashes, much brighter and bigger than stars. “They would go on and off like lights in pairs or maybe more. Then they would do the same thing at a different height, then high right to left and right again.”

It is interesting to note that although this is the only hotline callin received over this incident, the RAAF declared that they had received several calls into the Williamstown base that night, all asking about these strange flashes in the sky. The RAAF base confirmed that a jet was in the air late that night but no other details were available. Dominic McManara AUFORN NSW

07.02.07 MELBOURNE, VIC 2130hrs
I live in Melbourne about 15km from the city and on the 10\02\2007 at around 9.30pm I believe I saw a UFO. My girlfriend and I were driving to the local video store to drop off some DVDs. We drove up a hill from my house and turned left to go down another hill. As I was driving down I looked at the city lights as I always do, when I saw a glow of red lights moving west across the city, and on top of the red lights I saw blue lights. It was shaped like an Aussie rules football, but thinner like it had been squashed. I immediately told my girlfriend about it and she could not see anything, not even the city lights, as she has bad eyes. I got to the bottom of the hill and did a u-turn and watched the lights in my side mirror. I turned back around to face it and parked my car and watched for about 10 seconds as it moved west. To me it was a large structure that reminded me of the size of a blimp, but its pace as it moved across the city in a westerly direction was so fast. I'm positive it was a UFO. On 8 February 2007, at about 10.45 pm, Margaret’s son looked out of the window of the home in the Adelaide foothills, to see a strange object in the southwestern sky over Adelaide. He called to his mother and sister and they went out on the balcony to have a look. Margaret stated that the object was slightly larger than Venus, a yellow colour with what appeared to be red flares or a flame coming from the top of the object. The lower part of the object was a glowing green colour. She said it was hard to say exactly what shape the object was but it was slightly elongated, maybe an oval shape. There was also a glowing reddish yellow aura surrounding the object. The object was silent and stationary. After an hour the object appeared to shrink or move away to the west. The lower green section became brighter as it faded away. The object was gone within a minute or so. Margaret felt that it could not have been a star or a planet because of the rapid pace the object faded away and because it was stationary for approximately an hour, ruling out a helicopter or conventional aircraft. On 10 February 2007, around 8 pm in Noosa, Kirsten was lying on the ground watching for meteors and satellites in the clear night sky. After seeing a plane, meteors and a satellite, she watched a bright white object appear from the belt section of Orion. It was about the same size and brightness as the main Orion stars. It moved in an arc from horizon to horizon in about a minute, without a sound. “This looked different to the aircraft and the satellites,” Kirsten said. SOURCE: Daniel Sims AUFORN QLD

On 13 February Courtney woke up around 3.30 am and, unable to get back to sleep, she looked out her bedroom window and saw what appeared to be the same object over the Adelaide Hills. Again the object was spherical in shape, yellowish-white with a flickering reddish-blue light and a solid red light underneath the object. The object also had the same jerky motion. This time she grabbed her mobile videophone and recorded the object for three minutes. She observed the object for nearly an hour.

Courtney’s video footage will be investigated further at a later date. Jeff Fausch AUFORN SA

Mike watched a rotating diamond-shaped multicoloured light hanging over the Lucas Heights nuclear plant. It rotated slowly with no sound.

The light had many colours including red, blue, green and yellow. He watched it for over an hour.

He also recalls seeing a UFO fly over a football stadium in Queensland during a game. “It was just over the top of the lights and the game stopped as a few people watched. Most of the crowd sat there stunned, not even actually looking at it, while a few others seemed unaffected. I tried to call my friend’s attention to it (he was sitting next to me) but he flat out refused to look and kept his hands over his face, almost crying. He kept telling me not to look at it and then as it passed and I stood to watch it go by, everything went back to normal (this is when i realised that things hadn’t been normal). The players on the field looked dazed and didn’t know what to do. No one mentioned it again or that everything had stopped for a moment. It was really weird and i was a bit shaken for a few days.”

On 17 February 2006 Liz of Baulkham Hills was woken by a loud bang and looked at the clock to see what time it was. It was about 2.30 am. When she looked, she saw that a bright orange light lit up her room. The light was only encompassing her and her pet dog on the bed. She said that the light was coming in through her window like a spotlight. She had the feeling of being pinned down to her bed and she could not move. She felt that herself and her dog were vibrating in the light as though “in a magnetic field. It felt as if we were both lifted up and for some reason the thought of ‘don’t take me’ was going through my mind.” She was totally scared and her dog was really upset. Liz then got out of bed and noted that the time was 4.17 am. Larraine Cilia AUFORN NSW

Chris came out of his house around 5.50 am on the Saturday morning of the 17 of February and was greeted by a set of lights coming towards him from the west.

At 5.50 am on 17 February 2007, Chris stepped out of his house and was greeted by a set of lights coming towards him from the west. “As I watched, it turned a reasonably sharp turn towards south (right) and changed shape to a thin ellipse. There was no wind and no sound at all. Effectively, I imagined that it was still a long way away, so a faint sound might not have been heard.”
Chris then raced to the vacant block at the back of his house to see the object as it went behind a tree and came out still heading south. He then raced across to the beach and was able to watch this thing until it could not be seen any more in an ever lightening, pre dawn sky. Chris described the speeds as normal aviation speeds and actually held out his hand as it passed through the turn and at arm’s length, the object subtended roughly 15 mm. He described the object as a complete diameter of lights. Chris has been in the Royal aircraft establishment in the UK and involved with all sorts of aircraft including wind tunnel assessments. Associated with aircraft for a large slice of his life, he felt sure that this was not like any aircraft he had ever seen and not heard! The night was clear and there was no moon. The object when last sighted was about 5-degrees west of south and about 3-degrees off level ground. Chris contacted the authorities at Newcastle RAAF. They put him onto us but would not comment at all on his sighting. Dominic McNamara AUFORN NSW

In Prospect, South Australia, on 18 February 2007, Toni looked at the evening sky and saw a strange object in the west about 25-degrees above the horizon. It was large and circular, about the size of a full moon but dark grey or black. There appeared to be a round silver disk in the centre of the object with a red light circulating underneath the object. She watched it for about three minutes as it disappeared behind a large tree. There was no sound from it. Toni managed to photograph the object.

She also saw a strange amber light moving to the west over the airport in 2005 and in 1983 she saw a white light about 50 feet above her car when she was driving to Tumby Bay. This light stayed with her for about twenty minutes.

FOOTNOTE: On further investigation I believe that the object Toni observed was the HOLDEN Airship that was brought over for the “Clipsal 500 Touring Car race.

sIn the late evening of Febuary 18th 2007 Julie saw a large dark shape that she thought was very strange, she rang the UFO Hotline to report it.

Shortly afterwards released it was the Holden Airship (blimp) that was brought over to Adelaide for the Clipsal 500 Touring Car Race.

Julie did want to tell the story of a strange encounter she had with her husband in the early 1990s. They were travelling on Main North Road at approximately 10.00pm on a clear night when their vehicle became enveloped in a thick white cotton-like cloud. Julie noticed on the passenger side of the car were she was sitting a row of red lights that appeared to be flashing quite brightly moving along with the vehicle. She described the thick cotton like mist being so thick that it was as if a white pillow was put on front windscreen of the vehicle.

As they drove through the thick cloud, Julie stated that she suddenly got a very a painful headache and got a sensation of being suffocated. She started to get very scared, as she did not know what was going on or what was going to happen. She also had a very strange sensation of reality and time not feeling right. Julie thinks they were enveloped in the mysterious cloud for approximately five minutes. Julie said even her husband was very concerned about what they had experienced but had no explanation for this very strange experience. Julie believes they could have encountered a UFO of some kind and feels that the encounter affected her health for a number of years after the encounter.

Julie stated that the strange feelings in her head, she encountered on that night lasted approximately two years and the painful headaches only started going away about two years ago.

Julie stated that the first UFO she had seen was in 1965 or 1966 from there home in Parafield. She saw a large dark cigar shaped object that appeared to fly in an erratic manner. She said it was so long ago that she can’t remember many of the details anymore other than to say it was very strange and scared her.

Courtney woke up at 0030hrs and was unable to get back to sleep. She got up and looked out her bedroom window to watch a particular star that she finds interesting and observed a strange light in the southeastern sky approximately 25 degrees above the Adelaide Hills. The object was slightly larger than the planet Venus, spherical in shape. It was yellowish / white with a flickering a reddish-blue light and had a solid red light underneath the object.

The object appeared to be moving up and down within the same area (jerky motion). She watched the object for a nearly 4 hours; she then went to the bathroom, when she returned the strange object had vanished.

On the 13th Febuary Courtney woke up again at 0330hrs and was unable to get back to sleep, she looked out her bedroom window and saw what appeared to be the same object over the Adelaide Hills that she had observed two weeks earlier. Again the object was spherical in shape, a yellowish- white colour with a flickering reddish-blue light and a solid red light underneath the object. The object also had the same jerky motion. This time she grabbed her mobile videophone and videoed the object for 3 minutes. She observed the object for approximately 60 minutes.

On 21 February 2007 at 11.38 pm, Tim had been composing music in his room when he received a text message from his friend, which read “I am sitting on a beach and have spent the last 20 minutes watching a UFO dance in the sky…” Tim ran to the roof of his house whilst calling his friend to ask where he was. The friend and two others were on the northern beaches of Sydney and had watched a light in the sky dancing like a musical bouncing ball, making zigzags and streaking high-speed hairpin turns. Tim could see in the NNE what looked like a spark racing across the horizon covering incredible distances until it came to a complete stop. It then disappeared only to reappear shooting upwards like a shooting star and after making a U-turn in a half second, it had returned to its point of origin. His sister Emily was next to him and confirmed what he saw. The sighting lasted seven minutes and they could see only stars until they saw what seemed to be red lights from a plane in a similar part of the sky as the UFO. These red lights were accompanied by satellite lights around the centre light. This light formation moved westward very slowly but judging by the distances between the lights it was a single object the size of a small town. This lasted about two minutes. Jean and Amish were taking a late night stroll along Dicky Beach when they noticed eight orange coloured lights moving across the water. The lights indicated that the object was at an angle and triangular in shape. It took around eight to ten minutes to move out of sight. Although the lights were orange, three lights at the back of the object turned blue every few seconds. The height was not known due to some cloud. The object could be seen through the clouds. It moved from the south to the north and there was no sound. Jo Kent AUFORN QLD

Shape of objects: Circular.

Full Description of event/sighting: We were fishing under the road bridge for brim, when all of a sudden a bright light got brighter until it was approximately 200 meters above us. It was silent. A beam then came from the craft hitting the middle of the lake. Much like a particle beam. Like snowflake, it looked weird. Water was definitely drawn upwards. It lasted for about 2 minutes and disappeared. The water was not disturbed and there was no noise. We immediately pulled our fishing lines in and went home. There were red and green lights on the craft but no windows. This spaceship was not from this planet and was in need of salt water.

Thank you to the witness for the fascinating report.
