Description: I was looking at the night sky, when I saw about 10 bright objects, they were going in a northerly direction, then some would break away & chase each other. I saw one just disappear for a while then come again, this went on for about 30 min. ( would it be a meteor shower)? I was only 15 yr old when this happen, & is still very clear in my mind.

Weather Conditions: Clear with a few low clouds in the distance Description: I was sitting on my deck at my home in the Gold Coast (Bonogin) hinterland over looking the Gold Coast / Surfers Paradise building sky line. As I was peering out I noticed this dark grey object in the sky out above the buildings or a bit further out over the ocean. I first thought it might be a plane banking out over the building on its way out over the ocean, but then I realised how large it was and it stopped moving and just sat there in the sky not getting bigger or smaller. The size of it compared to the buildings made it "way too big" at that distance to be any plane. (It would have had to been the size of 3 747s noise to tails long) There were no lights or sounds just this huge dark grey object sitting there in the sky for about 45 to 60 seconds. And then it must have darted out over the ocean because it went from being huge to disappearing very quickly. (Like when you see a fighter jet rocket out of sight into the sky, but faster.)

Sighting Duration: 5 - 10 minutes
Qualifications: Commercial Pilots licence

Observation: We were facing east and noticed an object traveling from the SE towards the NW. It was retangular in shape but appeared to black to silver in color and appeard to be rotating. At first we thought that it could have been something like a garbage bag, however there was no wind and it appeared to be quite low.

We were all about to just write it off as something we couldn't explain until another object appeared not less than 2 minutes later travelling in the same direction, but it appeared to be spherical in shape and seemed to pulsate while changing in color, as with the other object from black to silver.

We did notice what seemed to be a red flash off the first object every now and then, however I believe as the sun was setting that this was the suns reflection off the shinny silver side of the object. As I said, it was rectangular and slightly curved in shape, with the longer side being vertical and it appeard to be rotation around the vertical axis.

We watched both object travel across the sky for about 5 - 10 minutes. The further away they got the first object appeared to begin climbing while the second object appeared to maintain the same altitude.

Earlier we watched a helicoter fly past, however these objects were travelling substantially quicker for the altitued that the appeared to be at.

There was no wind, I've seen weather balloons before and they don't travel at near the speed that these were moving at. Also weather balloons appear to raise vertially quite quickly, whereas these things were maintaining altitude. There was no sound associated with the objects.

Apparent Size: Pea-Sized - Actual Size: Hard to say really. Because they were shinny and spinning/pulsating, it was hard to judge distance and size. Altitude: I would have said at least 1500ft. Looked similar to the hight you'd see a light plane fly past at. Object Origin: From the SE, over the trees Object Destination: The NNW, just to the east of the Melbourne CBD. Weather Visibility: Clear, Warm, Calm Weather Comments: Clear with not a breath of wind. Viewing Aids: naked eye only. 8 witnesses

Effects Psychological: Well once all of us realised that there was a second object which was just as unexplainable as the first, we all sort of freaked out a little. 1 is a coincidence, but two was just freaky.

Other Experiences: No, never. And I've been a pilot previously, and also worked in ATC for a brief period of time. About two weeks earlier I was down at Wilsons Prom in victoria and saw a bright flash followed by seeing an object crossing the sky just like any other satelite, however I just thought that it could have been the space station with the sun relecting off it.

Observation: During the 12th of Febuary 2008 at about 2:30pm I was driving east on Gt Eastern Hwy and stopped at the traffic lights entering Morrison Rd turnoff. I noticed a large shiny object at about 2 o'clock just above the Darling Range hilltops, which did not look like a plane.

The people in the car stopped in front of me saw it too and were pointing at it. The object was moving in a circular pattern coming from over the darling range, circling north over greenmount/middle swan, then disappearing back over the hills. It appeared to have an "out of focus"glowing aura underneath it. I thought it had gone but about 3 minutes later as I entered The Crescent in Midland it appeared again. This time it followed the same flight path but came much lower appearing to almost land near the Cycle Dome. I pulled over into a side street and quickly got out of my car. As I looked away for no more thasn 2 seconds,trying to get my phone camera to take a video, it vanished. It was about the size of a small jet liner and seemed to change shape from a flat cigar shape to a teardrop shape as it turned away from me. The cloudy aura underneath was hard to focus on, and during the first sighting I thought I had some mucus in my eye. However, this was not the case; as was confirmed during the second sighting.

Description: The object was in the flight path for Perth Airport and I am used to seeing planes taking off and landing in the same airspace. However this object was moving about double the speed of the planes. The object appeared to change shape but it could have been the gaseous glass-like sphere of haze around it which could have warped my perspective. As it turned away from me it appeared to go from a flat cigar type shape to more like a teardrop with the big end at the front and the small end at the rear.

The most distinguishing feature was the hazy out-of-focus spherical aura that travelled underneath it. The top part of the object was clearly metal, with the look of stainless steel. I heard no noise from the craft.

J was sitting on the back veranda with his wife when he noticed a white light moving across the sky. Whilst he was trying to determine which type of object it could be, it stopped dead and then disappeared without making a sound. He believed that such a small light was probably quite distant from him, but that nothing could explain this disappearing trick. This sighting actually turned out to be a daytime one in which the time of the event was late AM. The object moved easterly, that is, from left to right in front of the witness. He even called his wife back after it suddenly stopped. It wasn't so much the type of light in the day that would bring much attention, it was the fact that it was moving too fast and then stopped too suddenly - and after all of that, it suddenly vanished. After gnawing over it for a while, he felt he had no choice but to try and tell someone. He rang 12455 and was given the UFO hotline details.
