I noticed a orange light moving across the sky from west to east. I took some photo's with my camera phone and after watching it travel from the west of the sky to the low east side I looked away for a second and when I looked back I could not spot it until it shot of like a shooting star. I have also seen other orange lights flying back and forth at night on 7th and 8th of February. Description: orange lights the same size as a star or smaller. I only seen more detail when I had a look the the photo's I took with my low quality camera weeks later. Location: Mount Gravatt Brisbane Queensland - Other Witnesses: I was alone - Apparent Size: Star - Actual Size: no idea - Altitude: could not really be sure as high as a plane would fly or higher - Object Origin: west to east in December, north to south to north to south on the 8th, a short distance south west then later another 1 going north on the 7th - Object Destination: on december it shot off south and the other days they did not disappear they simply stopped moving and just look likes orange stars - Moon Visible: on December I cannot remember 7th I'm not sure the 8th which is tonight the moon is nearly full and up in middle of sky to the north east - Planets Visible: stars yes planets I don't know - Weather Visibility: Clear - Viewing Aids: photo. 01.11.0? Great Dividing Ranges (VIC) 17: 00hrs 08.02.09 Wisemans Creek (NSW) 21: 05hrs Observation: The night of the 8th was a full moon, I live in the bush 30Ks from Bathurst,a bright and clear moon lit night,at the time of the sighting the moon was unobscured by cloud. At 9.05 pm I sat in my chair on the veranda looked up at the moon and saw an object at first thought to be an aircraft which I see every night either international or interstate and local-twin engine turbo prop Sydney to Bathurst, usually on approach to Bathurst Airport or just after take off. The jetliners mentioned earlier, either interstate or international tracking west at varying altitudes all aircraft seen have navigation (strobing) lights at long distances strobing lights can be seen-which is the idea. Getting back to the sighting,I sat in my chair my glasses were on my head and my binoculars in my lap I saw an object pass across the face of the right to left approx. north easterly track, at this stage I knew the object was not an aircraft of an ocular of objective distortion made by my binoculars or similar reflection made by my glasses. The green/blue light object was passing across the face of the moon clearly seen with my short sighted eyes without glasses or bins. Both objects seemed not to deviate when moving away. I could only examine one object at a time because of the great vertical distance separating them. - Description: When either object was examined with the binoculars, the objects seemed to be of a green/blue colour gave the feeling of moving at great speed in unison. I observed atmospheric distortions through the binoculars as the objects moved away the green/blue colour seemed to fade. - Location: Wisemans Creek 30 Kilometers from Bathurst and 30 Kilometers from Oberon - Apparent Size: Pea-Sized - Altitude: Live at approx. 1300 mts above sea level - Object Origin: North easterly flight path. Coming from easterly - Moon Visible: Bright clear full moon lit night.- Moon Size Comparison: Twice to 3 times Pea size compared to a dinner plate - Planets Visible: Yes - Weather Visibility: Clear, Hot, Cloudy, Calm - Viewing Aids: binoculars - Effects Physical: No. 03.4.5.6.02.09 Croydon (VIC) 21: 30hrs Observation: A V formation of three satellite like objects that accelerated in speed and in unison whilst being observed over a period of approximately 30- 45 seconds. The formation was V shaped like the sign for 'greater than'. Towards the end of the period of sighting the leading lower object brightened and 'spun off' in visible loops and disappeared.
25.02.09 Tully (QLD) 18: 30hrs Observation: I was looking to the west of tully and I noticed what appeared to be a small star above Mt Tyson. I have not seen a star in this position before. I got my camera and took a photo of this object. - Description: This object was at a great height but the sky in that area was clear, a good view. - Location: Tully N.Q. 4854 Other Witnesses: I had my wife verify what I had seen. I asked her to describe to me what she had seen and she went away shaking her head in disbelief. - Apparent Size: Other - Apparent Size Other: this object was very large - Actual Size: This object was huge it appeared to be shinning you could make out what appeared to be other circles around and above the main body of this object. - Altitude: This object was at a great height - Object Origin: This object was behind Mt Tyson ,west of tully when I noticed it. - Object Destination: It stayed on the same path till I gave up watching it. - Moon Visible: I saw this object with the sun still going down. - Moon Size Comparison: If the moon was full and the distance the same, I would suspect we would be in deep trouble? - Planets Visible: No. - Weather Temp: Warm - Weather Comments: Slight cloud to the north and east of Tully - Viewing Aids: binoculars - Effects Physical: No - Effects Psychological: Yes, I watched this object for some time before I called my wife to confirm what I had been watching. I asked her to confirm what see was looking at, when she told me, she walked back inside shaking her head.
25.02.09 Mallacoota (NSW) 23:30hrs Observation: I was away camping with my family and girlfriend in Mallacoota (north of victoria, almost over the NSW border) It was a clear night, no wind and no clouds. As every night we were away, we'd sit outside till around 12am just talking, looking at the starts, playing cards etc. When looking to the east on top of the hill where the radio towers are (I'm not sure what the hill name is) my father discovered a red light slowly heading south just above the mountain. At first we thought it was one of those fireworks that come down with a parachute being let off because new years eve had just passed, but after a good 5 minutes it was still heading south, not falling, just slowly drifting. Not too long after that, the red light split in two. The original object continued it's path, while the second looked like it fell to the ground in a slow fashion, going out of site behind the hill/mountain. After 2-3 minutes more, the original object slowly faded into nothing and disappeared. All 6 of us witnessed this account, and the following day, our camping neighbors told us they had seen it to.
29.01.09 Nowra (NSW) 21:30hrs Observation: The event took place near: A Military Airfield or Base - Object had an: Aura or Haze around it. The object emit beams of light: Object emitted beams of light changed colors - Objects Shape: Cross - Number of objects: 1 - 29 Jan 09 9.30pm (approx.), a brilliant white light (extremely bright) which appeared to be stationary in the sky in a westerly direction. The light could best be described as being 1000% brighter than anything else in the sky at the time, and 15-20 times bigger than your average star. the light itself was not a complete ball of light, but the best way I can describe it would be as a 5 spoke car wheel of illuminated light shining so brightly it gives itself the impression of being a solid mass of light. Around this centre mass of light was a pale blueish purple halo which ringed the centre mass and seemed to be pulsating slightly. The purple halo seemed to be emitting segmented beams of light (think lightning but right angles) these beams seemed to change from the blueish purple colour as they emerged from the halo to a pale red at the end. This was visible for about an hour at its brightest (9.30-10.30pm) after which it seemed to diminish slowly (it truly looked like it died) until it was completely burnt out by 11.30pm. As reported to Brad Mildern Received on 03/02/2009 04.02.09 Surfers Paradise (QLD) 17:52hrs Observation: My wife and I, were on the front patio at 5.50 pm on the 4th of FEB 2009 facing south looking in the direction of Surfers Paradise, When we noticed a bright orange / yellowish light through the tree across the street, It was about 15 degrees to the horizon to the south west, The object was traveling towards us slowly for about 30 or 40 second, we thought it was a helicopter with a search light or something at first then we noticed that there were no flashing lights at this time the object was a bit smaller than the size of a five cent piece held at arms length. I asked my wife to retrieved my binoculars from inside, By this time the object was traveling vertical at considerable speed , It travelled upwards going behind a small cloud for about 4 seconds easy seen though the cloud but it was not as large, reappearing above the cloud in clear view the object came to a halt and hovered for about 3 to 5 seconds at about 80 degrees to the horizon in the south east, I was looking through the binoculars by this time but could still only make out a fuzzy yellowish / orange ball shape, The object proceeded to take off in a north western direction, at such an astronomical speed that with-in about 10 seconds the object disappeared into the distance to the north west at about 25 degrees to the horizon. Object had an: Aura or Haze around it -Did the object hover: Object hovered - Objects Shape:Sphere/ball - Number of objects: 1 As reported to Brad Mildern Old but NEW UFO Sightings received: |
