OCT-NOV 1964 SYDNEY (VILLAWOOD), NSW 2200hrs (CE3)
(Source: Phillip Ainsworth UFOSWS)
Shape: saucer
Size: 4-6metres width
Objects: 1 saucer
Colour: lights, no colours
Sound: humming
Speed: slow
Duration: 15-20 minutes
Direction : landing at a 35 degree angle
Witnesses: Anna, (boy next door also saw being in his room)

In 1964, between the months of October to November, the witness was living with her parents at Villawood. At that time, the witness was 11 years of age. She claims to have gone to bed at about 10pm, shortly before the parents had. Approximately 15-20 minutes later, Anna had noticed a “deep humming” sound coming from the back yard. She immediately looked out her bedroom window to investigate. Anna claims to have sighted a disc shaped object slowly descending. The structure itself appeared to be at an approximate 35-degree angle (same angle of descent) at about 6-8 meters from the ground.

The object appeared to be slightly illumines with 4 apparent lights located in sections around the objects lower rim. However there were other faint lights projected towards the landing site, (lighting up the garden beneath) its source was not visible but appeared to have come from the under section of the object. The object then leveled itself and landed in the witnesses back yard between the two-sided neighbours fence.

The distinctive “deep humming” sound then ceased. She claims that the object was&Mac178; the size of her current lounge room (4-6 meters in width) and silvery in colour. The object was described to be a “round saucery shape”. In all, the witness watched the event for approximately 2 minutes before going back to bed in fear. She then immediately fell asleep. The following morning (a Sunday), the witness woke up to hear her father upset about his burnt garden. For the coming years, her parents had difficulties growing any vegetation with in the vicinity of the apparent landing area. The subject also claims that a “tennis ball sized bottomless hole” was discovered in the neighbours back yard, next to the fence.

The neighbour’s son; Kevin who was 8-10 years old at the time of the event claims to have seen unusual humanoid life forms in his room (little green men). Kevin refuses to be interviewed. However, Phil and I met the mother Mrs Schofield on 5/9/00 after taking soil samples in Anna’s mother’s back yard at the alleged landing site in Villawood. Mrs Schofield lives at number 24. Mrs Schofield claims that Kevin, who is now 44 years of age, told her how there was this little man (3.5-4 ft tall) with an exceptionally large head and thin body staring at him in his room (which at the time faced the back yard). The boy said he was frightened and drew his head under the blanket. Shortly after he peered out to see if the figure had disappeared. It had not. Finally the boy became so frightened, he jumped out of his bed and snuck into his sisters bed who was lying next to Kevin, asleep. The boy drew his sisters blanket over his head, only to check on the figure shortly after. It was still watching the boy. Kevin drew the blanket over himself and fell asleep. We asked Mrs Schofield if Kevin could contact us through e-mail or phone call. We are still waiting to hear from Kevin. Regarding the landing, there were no other witnesses and the back yard was not illuminated by any other external lighting.

Anna suffers from migraines and is light and heat sensitive. She claims to have had spiritual encounters (being held down in her bed some years later and released after closing her eyes and praying). She also feels a sense of paranoia as if something or some- things are watching her. She says she has seen dark figures with large eyes imbedded in the wall of her previous residence. Anna collects statues of Siamese cats with large heads and large tear shaped eyes and thin bodies. She says that she collects them, but dislikes them and feels uncomfortable when they are in front of her or “when they stare” at her. The subject seems to be immune to common colds, viruses etc. Phillip Ainsworth UFOSWS

Barry and one passenger were driving past Melbourne Airport at Tullamarine one evening 4 years ago. They both watched what they thought was a plane approaching the runway to land. They were watching what appeared to be aircraft landing lights, which were extremely bright, and formed a triangle above the landing strip. Just as they expected to see a plane touch down the three lights suddenly dispersed in three different directions simultaneously. Barry’s comment was that planes “can’t do that”. I told Barry that I’d never heard of planes doing that either. George Simpson AUFORN VIC

I had a report at 5.10 am from a family travelling to Perth from the north-west, they were just north of New Norcia when they saw a white light behaving in erratic fashion and then disappearing. They also reported brief sighting of a red glow in the bush. Later a man fishing in a dam some 120 kms north of Perth with his girlfriend and her mother, sighted (1.15 am), a white light that followed a zigzag pattern for approximately one and a half minutes. Then a woman in a suburb north of Perth reported an object that flew with a very loud whooshing sound low over her house. So loud in fact, that she was too alarmed to sleep for a couple of hours. She said it sounded “like a scud missile”.

18.04.99 ARITUNGA (150kms from ALICE SPRINGS), NT (Mysterious Animal Death)
(Source: Personal Investigation by Keith Douglass AUFORN NT)
A farmer 150 km from Alice Springs out near Aritunga, called Keith to report the death of one of his horses. The farmer has lived in the area for many years and has never had an animal die in such a strange way. He said there was no sign of the horse stumbling before its death as their should have been. The farmer thought it was a little strange the horse was legs up and there was no sign of the horse having struggled because the ground was not disturbed at all. The farmer said he thought he would report it because of the UFO sighting which accrued near his farm on April 18th 1999 when a photo was taken of an alleged UFO. Keith Douglass AUFORN NT

Darrell reports: “a very large object appeared in the sky, size was in between the size of the moon and a large star, my friend also saw it along with my neighbour. Colour was a bright pulsating orange. The object hovered for around twenty minutes then moving towards them and then away.

It travelled from a West to a North Westerly direction, we were looking almost north at it. We called RAAF Amberley and I was told there had been nothing reported and nothing on radar. The object then moved towards Mt Glorious.” Robert Frola AUFORN

18.04.99 ESPERANCE, WA (ANGEL HAIR)
(Source: Brian Richards, UFORUM)
A man witnessed tonnes of white filamentous threads falling from the sky over a 90 kilometre area or more. Paddocks, hedges and trees were covered with the material and it hung off power lines in great shrouds with lengths up to thirty feet long. Apparently the sky was thick with it up to a thousand feet or more. There was no wind. The threads fell from 10am to 3pm. All the paddocks in the area had a ‘sheen’ caused by layers of the material. Peter, the witness, picked up some of the ‘hair’ to try and get it analysed. A cessna aircraft was flying around as low as 200ft through the falling threads. Three contrails were stationary much higher, one with a spiral in it. Channel 9 put out a report (tonight) that the same material was used in Yugoslavia to put out electrical power supplies (generators).

Brenda was in the kitchen on the phone to her sister, when she noticed an orange light out the window. The orange light appeared to have white undertones to it. Brenda is familiar with rescue helicopters that routinely fly over her area, this was not a helicopter. There was no sound as the object seemed to travel just above her neighbour’s roof although her two german shepherds whined at the back door. The objects appeared to be gliding above high tension wires and an ariel in the distance that the witness is not sure of in regard to it’s purpose. The duration of the sighting was approximately 5 to 10 minutes as it travelled from north east to south west. A second orange light was then seen and then a third. They travelled in a horizontal line, then stopped and formed a circle. Brenda’s husband works at an airport so she rang him to see if could verify…but the airport is too low to have clear sight of the objects. At this point a fourth object appeared, travelling at much greater speed than the other three. The fourth object then dropped a bright light that descended at great pace…but the fourth object continued to shine just as bright. The objects then dissipated in several directions at great speed and appeared to be moving away from the witness. The objects seemed to be all the same distance away and were evenly spaced for the most part. The witness rang Williamtown Air Base and was referred to 013. The variable speeds reported do not seem to fit with illuminated garbage bags including the fact that at one point before the fourth object joined the other objects it appeared stationary, again to not fit the pattern. I will be following up with police stations and newspapers to gain further reports and information. It could be illuminated garbage bags but the differing speeds and directions are confusing to that scenario, also the witness was quite sure the objects moved away from her rather that just going out. The time of the sighting was between 8.30 and 9.00 pm. Doug Moffett AUFORN NSW

14.03.00 NEWSCASTLE (HUNTERVALLEY), NSW 0430hrs (Identified as Venus)
(Source: 1800 Freecall National Hotline Number - Callin Code: 00618)
Alison’s two small children alerted her to a bright star like object at approximately 4.30am that appeared like a supernova. It was very bright with silver sparks flying off it to about 1 to 3 cm relatively. Duration was approximately 1 hour then Alison went to bed. The object appeared stationary for the most part, although it appeared to move about 1 cm higher before returning to original position. It was below the level of the other stars and above the level of the scattered cloud. The object appeared to have lateral movement of approximately one and a half cm over a mountain. The sparks seemed to dim toward the end of the hours observation. The object was seen in a south westerly direction. This is the part of the sky and time when Venus could be seen. Venus is rising at approx 4am and is particularly bright at the moment. Due to the effects of humidity causing the lower atmosphere to be lumpy and thick, scintillation would be greater than normal and due to it’s low position above the horizon at that time this sighting is most likely to be Venus. Witness is staying up tonight to see if the same effect happens tonight, she will let us know the outcome. The apparent downward movement of the object may be due to inversions in the atmosphere caused by the high humidity. Doug Moffett AUFORN NSW

Deborah watched a round object, silvery in colour, travelling slowly across the sky for approximately 5 minutes before disappearing into a cloud. The object was a long way from the witness. Further information has been requested from Deborah via a Sighting Report Form. Early indications are that this could have been a foil balloon as it travelled slowly and did nothing “unusual” but further details are required. Tony Cooke VUFORS

At 8.45pm Saturday 29th August, Delia was on the phone to her friend. Delia lives at Norman Park, Brisbane. As she was talking on the phone she looked out of the window and saw a red fire ball travelling across the sky in a north/west direction. She said it was very low in the sky, about the height of an aircraft, but travelling at a slower speed than an aircraft. It flew over the next door neighbours house. She told her friend who was on the other end of the phone line and who lives in Cannon Hill, Brisbane. Her friend went outside and could see the object also, but at a distance. Delia said she watched it for about 5 minutes until it slowly became out of sight. It made no sound. Jan Stone AUFORN QLD

01.08.00 ADELAIDE (TOLLEY RD, ST ABNES), SA 1234hrs (DO)
(Source: 1800 Freecall National Hotline Number - Callin Code: 00827)
Shape: Elongated ball shape [possible cigar shaped]
Objects: 2
Colour: Grey/silver metallic
Sound: nil
Duration: approximately12 minutes
Direction: travelling SSW - East, then South to North
Conditions: Clear blue sky, no planes/birds or clouds observed
Witnesses: Jim and Andy

Jim and Andy are both Pest/Weed controllers and they were out on a job. Jim was gauging the wind to see if it was blowing too strong for spraying. He did so by glancing at a tall tree nearby, whilst doing this something caught his eye at a 45 degree angle in the sky approximately 3-5 km away from their location. Jim [who had sunglasses on] thought that he was seeing 2 balloons just floating in the sky but as he continued to look at the objects he realized that they were not balloons but something different. He turned around to his friend/co-worker Andy and said “hey have a look at that”. Andy [who didn’t have sunglasses on] said “yes they look like 2 metal elongated balls”.

They both continued to watch the objects for a few more seconds, when they saw one of the objects start to do circular movements around the other, ie: circling quickly around the other about 4 times. Then the other object moved horizontally - front to back, around the other object for 5 or 6 times and then stopped.

Approximately 30 seconds after they had stopped, Jim took his glasses off and noticed that both objects had a ‘grey aura or dark cloud defined shape, like bees were encompassing them. This cloud/aura seemed to pulsate strongly and then the objects disappeared. Jim’s friend Andy confirmed this.

Jim then glanced back at Andy to see if he had seen all that, which he had. Then within 2 seconds he glanced back at the sky and the objects had moved from their 45 degree angle to be directly 500 metres above them. Andy said to Jim ‘ hey they are here!’ Andy at the time was on the other side of their truck. The objects then looked as if they were on top of each other. They also appeared to be 4 times bigger and clearly have a metal and oval shaped body. Jim and Andy agree that the objects must have travelled against the wind at least 5 - 6 km to be directly above them.

By the time Jim looked back after again checking with Andy that he was seeing all of this, the objects had gone. Andy who had a clearer view said they were there one minute and the next gone...just disappeared. Charmaine Ballam AUFORN SA

14.01.02 LAUNCESTON, TAS 2110hrs (CE1)
(Source: Keith Roberts, Tasmanian UFO Investigation Centre)
Just what did Mr P notice for about 6 minutes in the clear evening sky over Launceston? It could have been an aircraft but air Traffic say there were no movements in the area at that time.

Approaching from the north-west at a very slow speed was a round dark blob. It looked to be moving up towards a bank of dark cloud over the city. Prior to entering the cloud it became stationary and a solid red light came below the blob. It then moved up through the cloud and was lost from sight. Mr P waited 20 minutes for the object to reappear but nothing further was sighted. Whilst waiting Mr P saw a commercial flight heading north through the same cloud then out and beyond the same cloud. The evening sky was bright with the evening sunlight which made a sharp contrast between the dark cloud and surrounding blue sky. Case unexplained.

30.01.02 SORELL, TAS 2050hrs (NL)
(Source: Keith Roberts Tasmanian UFO Investigation Centre)
Mr S had decided to take some photographs of the clouds lit up in the western sky by the setting sun. Using his digital camera he took a number of photographs as he moved his camera from north-west around to south-west. Later when inspecting the pictures he noticed on the photograph to the south-west a bright spot of light below the clouds. A round white spot with a suggestion of a light patch above can be seen, it stands out well below the middle layer of orange clouds in the background. The hills and lower clouds below are by this time in the shade. Nothing was noticed at the time the photographs were being taken. Due to the passage of time, follow up on aircraft movements was not possible. It is known that light aircraft from time to time perform evening or night circuits of the nearby airport, some pilots keep their landing lights on whilst on their circuits. The spot is sharp and clear suggesting little if any movement whilst the photograph was being taken, this seems to indicate that an astronomical explanation is remote. The picture is puzzling but with the lack of visual observation we are unable to log the case as unexplained. Insufficient information.

23.02.02 HUON VALLEY (MOUNTAIN RIVER), TAS 2242hrs (NL)
(Source: Keith Roberts Tasmanian UFO Investigation Centre)
Yet another ‘three light report’ as a Huon Valley resident and his partner followed the nocturnal lights for over five minutes.

Mr D had taken his dog out into the garden when he noticed three star like lights moving through the Orion constellation and heading towards the south-east as they gained elevation in the sky. He ran inside to alert his partner and look for his video camera (no video was shot). Returning outside the lights were now over the Longley area and in a triangle formation. Soon after a shooting star shot across the sky and almost at once the three lights shot straight up and disappeared into the sky in a matter of seconds.

Out with his dog early the next morning (3.50am) D was surprised to spot the same or similar formation of three lights in the southern sky moving across to the east. Once again a shooting star went through the formation which seemed to precipitate an immediate departure upwards by the lights. They were gone so fast it was hard to follow reported the witness. Case unexplained.

14.05.02 HOBART (LAUDERDALE), TAS 0524hrs (NL)
(Source: Keith Roberts Tasmanian UFO Investigation Centre)
Did something pass over the Kingston to Lauderdale locations on the morning of May 14th? Were the two reports to the Centre connected? Mr R had taken his dog for an early morning walk on Lauderdale beach. This was a practice he had done for many years despite the weather conditions, on this particular day it was fine. He had been to the southern end of the beach and was returning northwards when he noticed about 25 m ahead on the beach a distinct circle of white light. The light was about 10-12 m across and seemed to be connected to a beam in the sky. Mr R looked up at once and briefly saw a stationary object above the trees and houses to his left (west to south-west). At once the object moved over the beach ahead and as it did so the circle of light disappeared. The object went out over Frederick Henry Bay and seemed to disappear. Mr R had the impression the UFO turned away from him and the light source was no longer visible. No noise was noticed during the 6 second sighting.

The object was described as a ‘torch like shape’ with a rounded dark area at the front and light from inside along the body of the object, it looked to taper towards the rear. No flashing or individual lights were noticed. The witness gave an apparent size of about 3 moon widths. A stunned Mr R continued on up the beach, he recalls passing another early walker who asked if had seen the object lit up like a house and making a faint ‘sizzing sound’. Mr R some time after the sighting tells that he has not met the other witness and does not know who it was.

Meanwhile at almost the same time a Kingston witness reported a strange light source in their garden. The bright light lit up an area on the patio outside the house. The strange thing was that the sun umbrella on the patio looked to be spinning and flapping. The bright area of light flickered for a moment, and then went out. The witness thought it may have been the moon and wind causing the strange impression, however, inspection revealed the moon was not out and it was all calm outside. Case remains unexplained.

17.05.02 NEW NORFOLK, TAS 2115hrs (NL)
(Source: Keith Roberts Tasmanian UFO Investigation Centre)
Another one of those lights that at first appears to be attributed to a mundane astronomical explanation but then departs in a manner that cannot be explained. Two New Norfolk witnesses noticed a bright light in the south-west sky, it looked bright white and changed colour to red and orange. It remained stationary in the sky for about three to four minutes whilst under observation. However, the disappearance of the lights was more spectacular. It just shot off towards the north-west, zipping across the top of the skyline and out of sight in a matter of seconds. The case remains unexplained.

Terry and his family were up early for the last day of their camping holiday on the banks of the Murray river. They all saw a white ‘egg shaped’ object travel across the sky right above them. It was travelling West to East, and was moving faster and lower than a plane, and made no noise. It was travelling horizontally to the ground. It was 7:30 am, the sun was up, and there was a clear blue sky. It seemed to be larger than the police helicopter. George Simpson AUFORN VIC

At about 9:30 pm Brad and his parents saw a bright orange light in a local flight path area. It was silently and slowly moving towards the airport, when it suddenly vanished in an instant. It later reappeared, this time lower down, and went very close to a passing plane. Again it took off, very quickly. It resembled a top or a mushroom. They managed to record it on their new video camera before it went. They saw the same thing on an English news report the next morning on cable tv. Unfortunately the video was hand held, and the autofocus was on. George Simpson AUFORN VIC

Night of a thunderstorm, Lindsay saw 2 pulsating lights with a large red light in the centre. It passed overhead, going towards the Port Philip Bay. It was very low over the bay, then dropped and banked in a sharp right hand direction and headed North towards the city. It sounded “like a truck in the distance”. When it went over it was only about 200 ft up, it was rounded in shape, and tapered. It was otherwise indistinct. George Simpson AUFORN VIC

Christian saw a very strange light in the night sky at about 7:43 pm, and wanted to know if anyone else reported the same thing. He described a very large blue light that “flashed across the sky very quickly”. He saw it move from Murrumbeena to Chadstone. He said it looked as large as the moon does. This was interesting because my boss and his parents saw the same thing at the same time from Frankston, which is about 20 kilometers South of Murrumbeena. They said it went so fast that they were not sure what they did see, but it was a large bright blue light travelling South East to North West, and very low down from their viewpoint. There were no other reports of this incident. The description is consistent with a meteoric event. George Simpson AUFORN VIC

Vince saw 2 amber lights heading in a South Easterly direction towards the city. These lights didn’t flash at all, but were described as being “orange light beams”. His girlfriend watched them also. As they travelled, one followed the other. When the first one reached a particular point it went out momentarily. The second object did the same when it reached the same point. These lights made no sound. They travelled about as fast as a Jumbo jet, and were only about 4 to 5 stories high. Vince estimated that they were not much larger than a basket ball. Duration of sighting: 3 seconds approximately
Light colour: red/green
Apparent size: Two road lanes wide
Shape: Unknown
Noise: None
Objects observed: Single
Activity when object seen: Driving
Other witness’s: Girlfriend
Peter was driving down the Newell Highway at 8.40pm DST on the 25th of November just before Edgeroi (just outside of Narribri), with his girlfried in his truck. They had the windows down and were talking and the radio was not on. There were no vehicles in front of him and a car following along way behind. Peter suddenly noticed an object to his left hand side. The object had two red lights at the front, two red lights at the back and two green lights on the edges of the middle, no shape could be determined. The object was approximately 50 metres away from the truck at about telegraph pole height. When first noticed by Peter the object was travelling at right angles to the ground, with the lights at a North/South configuration. It appeared to Peter that the object was either taking evasive action to miss the truck or was trying to show him something. When Peter got the attention of his girlfriend (who had not sighted the object due to it’s incredible speed) the object had now flattened out to a more conventional East/West configuration and only the rear red lights could be seen, this was viewed through the open driver’s side window on the right hand side. The geography of the area in question consists of very flat plains. The object maintained it’s very low altitude over the plains to disappear within 1.5 to 2 seconds over the horizon. Peter stated that the object was like “something out of “Star Wars” and was the quickest thing he had ever seen”. No noise was heard during the sighting. The object was estimated to be about the size of two road lanes by Peter. Peter rang Coonabarrabran Observatory, Police and various observatories before calling Williamtown Air Base, who referred Peter to the Hotline Number. When Peter got to Edgeroi, he had cold shivers for three hours after the encounter. Previous to this encounter, Peter had not given any thought at all to possible ET visitation, he is now convinced he saw something totally unexplainable. Due to the sincerity of the witness and the facts pertaining to this case I have no doubt Peter saw a genuine UFO. My personal belief is that Peter saw an ET craft. Peter is going to call back in the next few days to the general store in Edgeroi to see if there are any other reports and will phone the Hotline if there is. I did not feel comfortable asking Peter about missing time/abduction scenario’s as he was experiencing difficulty dealing with what had just happened to him as it was, perhaps at a later date. 30.11.02 BELLATA (bet.MOREE & NARRABRI), NSW 2117hrs (CE2)
(Source: 1800 Freecall National Hotline Number - Callin Code: 02762)
Duration of sighting: 2 minutes approximately
Light colour: orange/white
Apparent size: Lights appeared 6 foot apart at apparent perspective
Shape: Unknown
Noise: Magnified sound of ocean roaring x 25 plus times in quadraphonic surround sound
Objects observed: Six lights flying in formation
Activity when object seen: On 100,000 acre property opening gate
Other witness’s: Wife

John is a professional shooter and was opening a gate on the 100,000 acre property he was working on when he noticed six orange/white lights moving in formation heading West/Southwest of his position. The lights formed a rectangular pattern with the bottom three lights slightly in front of the top three. The objects held this formation during the course of the sighting. John has been a professional shooter for 25 years and has spent 70% of his nights in paddocks and therefore noticed that these lights seemed out of place in the night sky. John viewed the lights through the scope of his gun at one point, but the lights only appeared bigger, without definition of shape. The lights were of an intermittent nature, with some on and some off as they “ripped across the night sky” faster than any plane or jet in John’s many observations of the same. As the objects approached approximately 12 o’clock high, John noticed a noise he first thought was the wind. As the objects moved from 12 o’clock to 3 o’clock, the sound increased to such an extent that John in a somewhat frightened state went into his four wheel drive to put the spot lights on fearing “ something” was going to ram him. John described the sound “like something coming at you”. At this point it became the sound and not the lights that created most consternation for John and his wife. John described the sound as “surrounding him” and being like “the roar of the sea magnified 25 to 40 times”. Interestingly, John stated that the sound did not hurt his ears and did not contain the harsh shrill of jets, nor did the windows of his four wheel drive rattle. The noise grew to a frightening crescendo before reducing in volume as the lights moved to 3 o’clock, this noise lasted for 20 to 30 seconds. At the peak of the volume, John felt that the noise was terrestrial in nature and it was only after he made the correlation of the lights moving away and the sound decreasing that he made a connection. The noise was so loud at one point “you could not hear yourself talk”. Due to John’s experience with night time skies, low flying jets, meteors, satellites and general familiarity with the night sky, as well as the sounds of the bush and due to his vocation and 25 years of experience, I find this an interesting case. I would estimate 80% of cases report no noise, 15% report low humming or whirring and only 5% where the noise becomes the overwhelming experience of the encounter. Obviously I found John to be sincere and logical in his reasoning, and find no grounds to doubt his summation of events. The exact date of this sighting should be confirmed by Wednesday when John checks his diary. Doug Moffett AUFORN NSW

Around Christmas time David and 3 friends witnessed 4 red spheres hovering over the Salisbury Military Base in South Australia. Being familiar with conventional aircraft he did not think these objects were aircraft or helicopters. 3 stayed in formation, slowly drifting across the sky until one took off after a plane that had flown past. He watched until all lights eventually faded out. Debbie Payne AUFORN Adelaide

At 6.45pm on 03.01.03, Peter and his family who live in Alex Hills Qld, noticed a red flame in the sky. Travelling from East (bay area) to West. Peter said it was too slow for an aircraft and too fast for a weather balloon or hot air balloon. There was no noise. It seemed to be going in a straight line about the height of an aircraft, he said the size would have been about the size of a 10 cent piece. They watched it for about 3 minutes until it went out of sight, still heading west. They said that they were unable to see anything but a red flame in a estimated round shape.

NOTE: George Simpson AUFORN VIC has had 2 independent reports of a similar kind in Victoria in the Western suburbs of Melbourne in the last 10 or so months. People saw a flame travelling along, silent like a large candle flame. The police watched it too. Jan Stone AUFORN QLD
