Soil Samples 1 -2

Soil samples taken inside the crop fall and outside shown in the below photos. There is quite a remarkable difference in texture.

Soil Sample 1

This soil sample was taken outside the crop fall. The texture is wet and sandy with a heavy mixture of clay, very wet. The Sorghum in this area stood to the height of 1.5 meters.
Soil Sample 2

This soil sample was taken 15 meters inside the crop fall, The texture was light and sandy with a light mixture of clay in areas, not as wet. The sorghum in this area stood between 85cm to 1 meter.

The 10 acre field is contoured with low and high spots which in areas consists of the 2 soil samples being found.
