Sarah called to say that her daughters were horse riding and were followed by something in the sky. On the way back, just on dusk and not a cloud in the sky, the girls saw a triangular-shaped lit object in the sky which first came towards them and then followed them for about ten minutes. After hovering the object eventually took off.
Sarah saw her daughter at the driveway as white as a ghost. The object was then seen by the caller. She described it as very small and more distant than when her daughters saw it. She described it as like the silver lights of a plane but no flashing or colours. The object did not move much but suddenly twenty lights shot out the back of it. Then it went out like a light switch! It sat about 30-degrees above the horizon and appeared at lower altitudes. The caller lives near Mallala, parallel with Redbank. She sees a lot of helicopters but this did not sound like a chopper, but on a second sighting just a few days later a funny humming noise accompanied the craft. She is not normally a believer of such things but was moved enough to believe that something strange was following her children, and in recent days, has acted as if it was hanging around for some reason. It was 3.50 am, and the cat woke Lyn up , wanting to go outside. She went outside to look up at the sky, it was a very clear night. She saw a large cluster of “Electric Blue” lights , with a few red ones here and there. The lights were not flashing, and there was no sound. She said there were many hundreds of lights making up the huge cluster.
She went back inside, looked out the window, and saw another one further away over the direction of her ‘car shed’. She could see both at the same time. She rang the RAAF base, which is only about 20 minutes away by car, and they said that someone else had reported the same thing too.
